Mizner Park

Boca Raton’s "village-within-the-city", Mizner Park offers world-class shopping and dining in a setting that visitors often compare to charming European cities. It is the hub of Boca Raton's downtown, the place to be day or night, and a center of arts and culture, as well as commerce.

Complementing the 40 retail specialty shops, eight restaurants, offices and apartments are inviting public areas. These include an amphitheater, broad arcade walkways and the park-like Plaza Real, which is dotted with gazebos, benches and fountains. Mizner Park is the scene of frequent activity from popular and philharmonic concerts to children’s events and arts and entertainment festivals year round.

At the north end of the site, the newly-opened Boca Raton Museum of Art is a showcase facility. It is the first phase of The Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park, which also will include a new amphitheater and an indoor Performing Arts Hall.

The Mizner Park Cinema adds to the cultural component. Its operator Sunrise Cinema is Florida’s premier arts, foreign and independent film operator and it mixes this fare with the best of Hollywood films. In all, Mizner Park encompasses 235,000 square feet of retail space including shops, restaurants, and a cinema complex. Among Mizner Park’s merchants are local and national retailers including Banana Republic, Bang & Olufsen, Robb & Stuckey’s, Starbucks, and Ann Taylor.

Restaurants range from fine dining to casual, including Mark’s On the Park, Mizner Tavern, GiGi’s, Ruth’s Chris steakhouse, American Café, Ruby Tuesday’s and Bavarian Colony.

The Boca Raton Museum

The Boca Raton Museum of Art's new 44,000 square-foot facility at Mizner Park enables it to increase exhibition, education and collection galleries; to add public meeting and program areas; and to enhance fourfold the Museum's programming capabilities. The move to Mizner Park is a natural evolution for the Museum, which was founded in 1950 as the Art Guild of Boca Raton. Today, the Museum is one of the leading cultural institutions in South Florida.
First floor galleries feature changing exhibitions, and second floor galleries display samples of the Museum's s permanent collection of more than 3,000 works of art, which include 19th and 20th Century European and American Art, Contemporary Art, Graphics and Photography, Cultural Art, Sculpture and Ceramics, and the wonderful Dr. & Mrs. John J. Mayers Collection consisting of more than 50 works of late 19th and early 20th century masters such as Braque, Degas, Glackens, Picasso, Klee, Matisse, Prendergast, and Seurat.

The new Museum will continue to attract people of all ages with its permanent and traveling exhibitions, interactive children's educational gallery, and expanded sculpture garden. Lectures and film series will be offered in the beautiful Wolgin Auditorium, and outdoor plazas will encourage the visitor to linger. There is a Grand Hallway and large catering kitchen that ensures the Museum as an ideal place to hold meetings and enjoy social gatherings.
