Legendary international music superstar Yanni recently completed his latest project in Five Star's high-definition post-production facilities. Working on site with the Five Star team on a daily basis for more than six weeks, Yanni edited in the facility's new Avid HD Adrenaline room with Five Star's senior editor, Steve Fuerst.
Titled “Yanni Live!” the concert was recorded in high definition with 14 cameras. The 55 hours of raw material has become an exciting 80-minute concert special featuring 14 songs. The special employs a dynamic cutting style developed specifically for this project, emphasizing the music, musicians and vocalists, and Yanni's own personal magnetism.
The completed program was mastered on a Sony F5500 SRW high definition recorder with 8 channels of audio. The project wrapped just as Hurricane Wilma came into town on Monday, October 24th , 2005.
Five Star will continue its relationship with Yanni by managing and cataloging his footage library for ongoing projects.
