NASA 100 Years of Flight


The "Centennial of Powered Flight" is an opportunity to tell the story of the realization of one of mankind's most compelling desires, to Fly! We intend to tell this story in a new and exciting way; a way that thrills, illuminates, exhilarates and entertains. Beyond celebrating the past we will add that we also view this presentation from a point-of-view that celebrates the past 100 years as the "first" 100 years of flight.


We truly believe when our presentation is complete that our audience will be eager to experience what is in store for them in the future. We will weave this story from a fabric rich with remarkable achievements. That history includes the inception of NACA (the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics), chartered in 1917; to the remarkable achievements of NASA, from its inception in 1958, to walks on the moon, to NASA's present and its plans for the future.
