Paul Mitchell Commercial Shoot
Internationally recognized brand, John Paul Mitchell Systems chose
Five Star Productions to produce their new international commercial
for the world's leading professional haircare company.
The spot was shot on 35 mm with noted director, Joanna Kerns, who
has directed several episodes of the award-winning television show,
Ally McBeal, Judging Amy, and Boston Public.
The Director of Photography, Don Burgess has been
the director of photography for such projects as Castaway, What
Lies Beneath, Forrest Gump, Contact, Spiderman and Terminator
3.
The commercial titled A Day in the Life, features
Eloise DeJoria, the model spokesperson for John Paul Mitchell
Systems. The shoot took place in multiple locations throughout
Los Angeles, from Rodeo Drive to the volleyball courts on Zuma
Beach in Malibu. The crews also shot scenes at the Malibu home
of John Paul DeJoria, CEO/cofounder of John Paul Mitchell Systems.
