mixes selected TV appearances and productions with her
work on an incredible array of charitable causes and

started, or that she has associated herself with because
of their fine work:

raised over $9 million to combat substance abuse and
help abused children.

was appointed by President George Bush in January 1991
and served as a Board Member of the President's Council
on Physical Fitness and Sports.
Chris
is terrific in front of the camera as a host and commentator,
hosting or appearing on programs as diverse as "Saturday
Night Live", to health related television specials.
She has hosted a "Women's Health Series" addressing
women of all ages and topics such as reproductive health,
women and cancer, and a healthy heart, and also hosted
a network special on Osteoporosis.
The
energy to pursue such an active professional and progressive
social role undoubtedly comes from her amazing athletic
career as one of the top women tennis players in history.
Her accolades in tennis are too numerous to list here,
but to name just a few:
Ranked #1 in the world for 7 years.
.904 win average over her 17 year pro
career
18 Grand Slam singles titles - third best
in history, man or woman.
Definitely
the model of an active working mother, Chris is married
to former Olympic downhill skier, Andy Mill. They have
three sons, Alexander, Nicholas and Colton. Andy is
now a broadcaster, working for NBC, ABC, ESPN and Outdoor
Life Network.
Chris
is ideally suited to help television viewers in maintaining
their health and well being as the host of "Today's
Health".
